Enjoyed it a lot, wish it had a slightly less annoying presenter

Went to the preview in Blackburn last year, it is a very good film and the most accurate of the scene in 1974, mind you the fact that I got a thank you in the credits does not make me biased. The DVD is good with the 'Making Of' or packaged with the CD's if you don't have the tracks anyway. Her book A pictorial History with Gareth Sweeney is also very good.

The Radio2 show was obviously geared ::) towards the commercial end but she did used to be a 100 Club regular and is a fan of the music.

Radio 6 have 3 documentaries called Keep On, Keeping on, on IPlayer covering the Wheel, Torch and Wigan, although they seem to forget that Blackpool Mecca was popular during the winter of 71/2 not just after the Torch with Levine. Oh! how they try to change history :( :(

Haven't had a chance to see the film yet but did get the box set for Christmas. Used to enjoy listening to Russ Winstanley on BBC R Lancs and Ian Grey on BBC R  Cambridge but the Beeb have taken both shows of the air now, I'll check the R6 shows out
