Hi Guys,
Just had delivery of looked forward to nightbreaker unlimited HI bulbs, to replace my old dipped beam bulbs, and there are a brown and a yellowish wires going into my old bulbs, but only room for one wire on the nightbreakers.
Have I got the right bulbs ?
Also do the old bulbs just pull out or do they need a twist as I cant seem to shift them.
such a simple job...sigh

You've the wrong bulbs... Mainbeam are H7s. They're a tight fit but should pull straight out :y
-
Wrong bulb.
There is a clip that holds bulbs in place

Taxi Al,
thanks for the reply, I got the bulbs from Amazon and typed in my reg no, it came up with H1.
Just done it again on another site and again it says H1.
These are Dipped beam I am after.

Ignore online partfinders, they are often wrong
-
Bugger, I ve got a pair of H1 on the way from Amazon for the CD - I even checked a few threads on here and thought I had it correct!
New order and H7 it is then!

Think H1 are mainbeam.

Might be prudent to remove one and double check what it says, assuming the manual doesn't... ::)

They have given me a refund on mine AND are sending me a set of H7s on a next day delivery with no postage charges and I havent even had to pay for the H7s..

Thinking about it, there's a white label on top of the light unit which tells you exactly which bulbs it takes...

H1's arrived and fitted perfectly for dipped beam :y

Apologies to all regarding this matter, and for any inconvenience caused, I made a BIG mistake over these bulbs.
I ordered HIs as per This forums advice, but when I received them I took the rubber cover off the back of the bulbs in my car and noticed that there were TWO connectors on my bulbs but only ONE on the HIs.
It has been so long since I have changed a bulb that I forgot that only one of these connectors is actually on the bulb, the other one being on the bulb holder !
So I made the stupid assumption that they were the wrong ones and made a bit of a fuss about it.
I have now fitted them and they are an improvement and yes they are definitely HIs for dipped beam.
Just one of the many benefits of getting older I suppose, anyway, sorry guys. :'( :-[

I need to go for a drive somewhere darker to be sure, but so far they don't seem much different to the original bulbs in mine :'(
