Title: 2.2dti starter compatibility

Hi. Seems my starter has died. Not surprising as it spent a couple of months with an issue causing it to have to crank for a while to start. Anyway now the starter has given up, after a cheap fix. Can I get a motor from any that uses the 2.2dti like vectra, etc? Also any advice on doing it is welcome as not done a starter before. Thanks

I have a dti starter in the shed for a tenner if your down Liverpool way at all

It definitely working? If it is I'll be there today if poss. Be nice not to have to push my car before I go anywhere (and these are heavy cars!)

Pm'd, It was a recent replacement on the car I broke up so will be fine
