The dog's looking at me as if to say 'Don't you dare take me for another walk'. It seems like an age since the kids broke up. Roll on tomorrow.

What is this "holiday" of which you speak?
Not looking forward to tomorrow - not only is it back to work (although I was back after Christmas anyway) but the sprogs will be back at school so there'll be 198172391823 extra cars on the road, bumbling along, making my 20 minute commute an hour+ long.
Bah.

That's one good thing about living where I do. Hardly any traffic and, if I'm in the mood, I can enjoy the morning school run. Apart from farm vehicles..........and trucks.......and old people........and ungritted roads........fine apart from them.

Must admit with all the changes in life recently I had been giving some though to moving out into the sticks somewhere to get away from people a bit.
