Anyone with a van/estate who could pick up a rear bumper & crash bar in Nottingham and drop off near M1 exit 12 for me?
Please message me.

If it helps, the rear bumper fits in the boot of an Omega, I know this as fact :) had a scratched, accident damaged one which got folded in three to fit (as it was just going in the bin anyway) on return home found that the bumper sprang back into shape as soon as out of the boot, and on inspection found no cracks at all in the paintwork, as I expected.

Thanks but I am not inclined to risk 'folding' it hence my request.

Yeah, quite understand. Just letting you know, was all, also useful info for any future viewers of this thread. Best of luck with the hunt :)

Will it not go in with seats down? (Saying that, do the seats fold down in a saloon?)

Indeed they do, so yes, it should do...
If you get stuck, I could always fetch it... :-\

Probably, but I am trying to get it 'done' rather than do it myself lazy b that I am. Don't know where all the time goes or am I just slow & lazy? I have to take the wedge to Nottingham in the next month too.
I will pay of course. Just asking, otherwise I will have to go myself.

I picked up a bumper from a chap in London (can't remember who but they very kindly gave me it for free).
With my ma in the passenger seat and me driving the bumper fitted through the boot with the seats down.
Ever so slightly ''manipulated'' so it was at a slight angle but that doesnt harm it at all. Van defo not needed. imo.

It's amazing what you can get in/on an Omega saloon even with an LPG tank in the boot! ;) :y

Recently got an Irmy front spoiler into a saloon....no probs at all :y

No problem. With seats down I got the front and rear bumpers in the back of mine. May need to move passenger seat forward a bit. :y

Depending how lazy you're feeling I'll do it at cost price. Only got my omega back on the road for a short time and love driving it so any excuse. I do live in Preston though so I fear cost may be slightly too much. Lol. It is a diesel though so reasonable mpg in comparison (although still terrible compared to my galaxy.....)

Got the bumper from Nigel Pearson (Omega breaker) in Nottingham. Very friendly & helpful. It did need to go inside. Through rear door driver's side then over (flattened) front passenger seat. Just fits. :y

Good lad is Nigel, glad to hear you've sorted it :y
