Title: Power steering fluid - Dex VI?
Post by: rollacorolla on 05 January 2015, 19:15:37
Hi all,
Having read the posts about problems with using Dex III for power steering fluid and that Dex II should be used, Burnham Garage told me Dex VI is now what is being used for Vauxhall power steering and has replaced Dex II. Will this be ok or will I have problems with leaks like with Dex III?
Cheers.

The reason, dex2 is specified, and recommended by GM and us,is anything above dex2 causes leaks in the pas system, mainly around the rubber hoses.

Ok thanks guys. I found 1L Fuchs Titan ATF 3000 on Amazon which is Dex II certified so will go with that.
