Does anyone have a wiring diagram for A Corsa C, specifically the radio? There`s a problem with the ignition live and I would like to trace the fault so I can get the new radio working for my girlfriends son.
TIA

Ignition live will only be a small current draw, so is it possible to use another local Ign+ feed?
What problems are you getting with it?
-
If its an aftermarket radio, swap the switched and permanent live feeds around

I bought a new radio with bluetooth and ipod connectivity for my girlfriends son, he got given his grandma`s Corsa. It turns out the the radio had not worked since the dash had to come out for some repair work so I checked the power and the permanent live is ok as is the earth. i tried switching the red and yellow wires around but still no joy, no life at all so I`m thinking that it needs both live wires to work. I`m going to put it in my miggy tonight just to make sure it`s not a duff radio, it`s a JVC btw.
I don`t know if there`s more going on and I didn`t have the tools or the time on Sunday to find out. It might just be a case of piggy backing a ignition live to it...or it might not.
I still think it`s the cowboys who took the dash out thats caused the problem ( they also broke the windscreen putting the dash back in too) and I`d like to find the cause but a quick fix may have to do.

Should be an option to connect both red and yellow to the single power feed...
-
It would be but that would give it permanent live and I`d rather it came on with the ignition leaving the permanent live for the memory.
Might just have to tap into another ignition live.

Do other 'ignition switched' lives work OK? Wondering if the loom to the ISO has suffered a cut when the dashboard was replaced. Is there a cigarette lighter in that model?
-
Check fuses, could be as simple as that.
-
Fuses are fine, the display is on the same fuse, it was the first thing I checked.
I think everything else works as it should, I also think the the loom to the ISO has suffered a cut but as the radio doesn`t work there`s no way of knowing if any of the speaker wires have been nicked too, and I doubt only one wire would have been damaged. If I had a wiring diagram it might show if the ignition live comes from another source and the connector just hasn`t been reconnected.

I would imagine the source is at the fusebox. In my mind the display would be a tail off the end of the radio loom but clearly not in this case.
Simplest solution might be to run a wire from the correct fuse to the pin on the ISO. At least the circuit is still protected by the right fuse then....

Good idea....Just need to find the right fuse. Owners manual says F12....no fuse in F12 but display is still working, insert fuse into F12 and no change. Might just have to pull fuses until the display goes out :-\
