Title: brake bleed nipples
Post by: dbr on 15 January 2015, 20:38:18

New nipples needed.
What size are they. Rears virtually corroded away. Will a screw extraction tool  get them out?

Yes, a extraction tool should remove them if your carful

If you have any problems getting a new nipple, give these folks a shout

Lots of Plusgas applied liberally over several days before attempting removal :y

Be very careful not to get said Plusgas all over the brake pads/discs though :-X

When I removed mine to paint them, I used an M8 bolt to keep the threads clear, however others here say that their calipers have had something other than a standard M8
