Hi All,
Right a few quick questions i have got some h&r spacers and i have seen a nice set of wheels but they are 5x112 so will need wobble bolts. Would this be o.k and also can i get wobble bolts that are that long i reckon it would be around 40mm bolts that i need.
Thanks for any advice guys.

While wobble bolts are safe they do state they are not to be used with wheel spacers. I think really you should be buying 5x110 to 5x112 hub adaptors.

No, just no...

Thrice NO,bloody things should be banned

I thought that wobble bolts where safe just was not sure about spacers with them....I already have the spacers as well dam...will do a bit more digging and have a look at the hubs your talking about.....If its to risky then I will leave it but want to get as much info as poss...You see some of these stanced motors and I think how the hell did they get them rims out that far lol.

Wouldn't touch wobble bolts with a bargepole - definately a no-no ;)
-
I'd say no to either, but a definite no to wobble bolts.
Personally, I'd get a set of rims with the right ET and PCD. But if I was forced down a different route, I'd only use proper adapters.

What are wobble bolts? ???
-
Err bolts that wobble ofcourse ::)
-
I thought they have been banned :o.....bloody should be :y

Smart hole

What are wobble bolts? ???

yea I did mate. but you think if you ask a question on here someone would just answer instead of freaking smart hole answers. if you cant ask questions and get answers whats the point of a forum???
-
Ffs its in the name, the washer on bolt/nut wobbles to give the difference in the pcd to allow the wheels to be fitted.

mate if he cannot understand the name 'wobble bolt' you are wasting your time explaining to him.... :y
-
you ask a question and get a smart answer instead of someone explaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, please take a chill pill. "What are wobble bolts" is a perfectly valid question, no need to chew the guy's head off. If the answer is "google it" to every question, then OOF serves no further purpose, surely?
