I'm about to do the heater flush on my Omega but I have a question regarding the hoses on my car. I've read the guide here: http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90620.msg1155537#msg1155537
First of all it's almost impossible to reach in to the quick-release connections so I've been thinking of just cut the hoses apart and after the flushing connect them back together. It will be easier to manage.
Here is an image of the hoses going in to the heater matrix, but they both end up at a circulation pump. It looks like an infinite loop. Where is the water coming from to the heater?

My concern is if this will be enough to flush through these hoses, wouldn't it be better to connect to where the inlet from the engine is?

Must admit they do look like they both go to the matrix but the top hose in your first pic turns back to the block , stick you hand down there when its cold.
As for cutting the pipes i wouldn't advise it as your are just adding more places for leaks to happen..

OK, I see...
Then the easiest way (except cutting them) to remove both from the pump and then flush, even though that will mean that I flush everything.
Or I'll try to see if I can find the other one going in to the heater matrix.
How much pressure will they stand, we have quite high pressure in our houses water mains.

Those hoses pictured are for the recirculation pump which runs when the engine is switched off, and the heater is operated by residual heat from the engine cooling system.
You can't do a heater matrix flush from those hoses - you will need to remove the scuttle to access the pipework at the bulkhead beyond the heater bypass valve (HBV), which is out of sight in the top picture.

Thanks to everyone to point me in the right direction. From the beginning it looked very difficult to reach in to the bulkhead connection for the heater hoses.
Eventually I was able to disconnect them, it isn't easy when you have large hands. They came off pretty easy.
When I flushed the water was clean from the start, no slime at all. But when I had everything back together and ran it for a while it felt a lot warmer in the car than before.
