Title: few faults, any advice ?
Post by: bigjono on 17 January 2015, 10:12:41
had my omega 3 months now , its a 2.2 on a 52 plate with 49,000 on clock, got a few niggly faults just need a few suggestions where to start looking,
1, boot opens off the remote but not on the switch on dash, fuse? switch? any way to test to find fault,

2, it runs great but seems a bit flat to me, need to tow my caravan soon so going to investigate, seems like its missing/pinking when rev it on low revs, and when pull away in 1st gear seems flat then kicks in all of a sudden, making it jerky to drive, iv cleaned egr , im thinking MAP sensor as ive read this is linked to timming i.e advance/retard ? any ideas where this is ?

1) Have you tried pressing holding switch for 3s? Or if the earlier ECU, the key has to be out of the ignition, then a quick press.

2) Ideally needs some live data around MAF/Lamda/trims to see whats going on.
