Was a bit pissed off today. Had an argument with the bank on Saturday, they said they'd posted my new debit card a week ago and, as I hadnt had it, I was thinking about all the shit I'd have to sort out if it went missing. The lad had an appointment at the orthodontists this afternoon, usually a half hour spent staring at the posters on the wall of a tiny waiting room. I've been feeling a bit off as well, pains in my lower abdomen and, as I hate quacks, I've been hoping it would just go away.
So....in and out of the orthodontists in ten minutes. Gets home, there's my debit card. Hadn't even got my coat off when the phone rings. It's the doctors, my routine sample showed an infection and a prescription for antibiotics is waiting there. Goes to the docs, straight to the chemist, puts the script in and gets my money out. 'No charge, you are over sixty'. (Didn't know that). Walks outside and the sun is shining.
Happy now. :y

Haven't had a prescription for about 7/8 years, so assumed it was 65 you stopped paying.

Not as straightforward as that, as they are phasing in from 60 to 66.
