Title: ABS ECU for 3.0

Hello All!

This is a novice question, buuuut, I'll ask it anyway!

I need to obtain an ABS ECU for a 2000 'W' 3.0 Auto for a forum member. I know they can be reprogrammed, but other than this are they all the same?

John can supply me one from a 2.6 or 3.2, can these be reprogrammed for a 3.0, or do I need non DBW one's?

EDIT: Response changed, thought you were talking about the Engine ECU - must read post fully!

Theres a couple £25 units on fleabay at the mo.

Theres a recent thread on here stating the 3.0 -3.2 difference.

Any mid facelift/facelift non dbw V6 one will be fine :y

So that's MY 1998- 2000 2.5 or 3.0 and same gearbox to avoid programming issues :y

Which reminds me, my shagged one is still in the drawer...
