Anyone holidaying to Euro land this year?
Great time for a motoring holiday with fuel prices so low and the pound getting stronger by the day against the Euro. A pound gets you 1.34 euros today. All down to a number of things but ECB QE is one.

Yeah ... trying to make a decision ... we are off to France in August as usual .. now .. do I buy euros now at 1.34 .. or wait and possibly get even better ??? A quandary it is young skywalker.... :-\ :-\

Ze Germans will be rubbing their hands with the Euro plunging like this! ;)
And a 'wrong' result in the forthcoming Greek election could see further turmoil! :-\

Europe? Full of peasants and scroungers. What you want is a proper holiday destination like this: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g4522345-d301969-Reviews-Gili_Lankanfushi_Maldives-Lankanfushi.html
Or maybe this, if you're feeling a little more flush: http://www.virginlimitededition.com/en/necker-island/booking#individual-rooms
;D ;D

It will change by early March, as that's when I'm off to France.

If Syriza take the reins it will certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons.
Ms. Merkel will be far from pleased. ;D

Well if you want to speculate those in the know say it will be 1.40 before too long, it was at 1.77 at its peak during the Euro transition .
Lot of potentially bad stuff to come for the Euro this year. Starting with the Greek elections this weekend.
Ditto of course with the outcome of the UK elections in May

A heavy spending socialist government will certainly liven things up. :D
