It was more a case of 'why does Chopsdad have a Halfords tool kit which has never been opened since the day it was bought'

Is that coz there were no instructions inside as to what each item was for? ;D

It was VERY clean .. and still had the foam interlayer ..... makes me wonder .. had it ever been opened before ???

Did anyone check his boot for the "clingfilm & cardboard" wrapper ???

 ;) ;) ;) ;)

Still there after emptying the boot then?   >:(

Doesn't sound like anything more than a shield or something to me. Certainly  plenty of clearance around the exhaust, and not "solid" enough a noise to be exhaust. IMHO

I might be inclined to let the suspension bed in for a few more miles, as it has had the weight off it and also new shocks.

I actually took some convincing that it was your tool kit.............coz the black case hadn't been painted silver yet.
