Title: re - introduction
Post by: Spally on 27 January 2015, 11:20:42
Hi, bit of a re - introduction tbh. I signed up a while ago and introduced myself but not been on here much. Didn't have an Omega then but unfortunately due to my Dad having his licence revoked due to ill health he has given me his Omega. It's a 51 plate 2.2 CD auto in dark green. Needs some jobs done first though, main one being a catalytic converter, also a damn good clean.

Anyhoo, hope to spend more time on here asking questions and just generally looking around.

If anyone can help re the cat I'd be very grateful but otherwise I'll speak to you all soon.  :y

Aye, post up in general help. Don't buy a pattern cat, they are universally shite for Omegas for some reason. If the flexi has failed, weld in a new one (£20 for part, a beer for your local welder ;))

Thanks for the advice,  haven't had a proper look under it yet but at first glance it looks to have split along the side of the cat itself.
