Had about inch this morning with main roads clear, but snowed on off all day. Just had enough again to blanket the place and make roads slippery again. I'm above belfast in the hills and belfast is clear.  Also armagh had reported 20cm in places. Starting to freeze now.

There was a nasty, sleety, cold, windy squall as I drove over the Kings Ferry bridge at 17:30 this evening. Highly appropriate weather for Sheppey.

Ten inches here....in the land of faraway  :P - still snowing, went to work at 2:30am without problem. Pure fun to drive old miggy in snow. And a cliche - cam sensor died on motorway  >:( but it lasted for 3 years which is amazing ;D

As you can tell, here in the UK, our national hobby (talking about weather) causes the country to stop when we barely get enough snow to cause the ground to turn white ;D

Actually, that's a lie. A couple of years ago, she wanted to go to a craft club in Daventry, but she struggles to drive in the snow (vertigo), so I said I'd drop her off and pick her up.  As I got her there a bit early, rather than wait outside for the place to open, she sat in the car with me. We were in a carkpark on a slope...   ...and the car started to slide down, despite being in park, with the handbrake on ;D.  Popped in drive, and managed to ease out of danger :)

Took the missus to work at 5am this morning.
A good 3 inches of nice soft snow with no tyre tracks anywhere to be seen  :)

Had her work mates cheering as I did donuts in the car park when we got there followed by the missus bollocking me for embarrassing her  ::) ;D ;D
She just doesn't understand  :D :D
I really must grow up one day ............... then again, its much more fun being a kid  ;D

Tell me about it  >:(

Set off to a service which is 2 miles down the road at 8:10 this morning.
Route 1, the frigging train barriers are frozen half up / half down.
Route 2, lorry trying to get over a flyover sideward.
Route 3, 6 mile journey.  Every lazy spoilt brat in the city was getting a lift to school off mummy  >:(  Some split arse in a chelsea tractor rams some other woman in a lupo scratching a little more then the paint  ::) Tractor woman stood screaming because lupo woman wouldn't give her more room  ::)
I wouldn't mind but the tractor was a good 6 foot off the kerb when it hit the other car.
Probably didn't want to get snow on her nice wheels  >:( >:(

Oh well, it will be freezing over by 3:30 pm so more chaos to come  ::)

Don't leave it too late before you go. Spain is set to be gripped in hellish winter conditions

I still laugh at the first snow we had here. The neighbours said "It hasn't snowed for 50 years here" Since then we have been snowed in three times and had minus ten C. Send Ian Duncan Smith over for a holiday please.
