Reversed her off the driveway this morning and the glass fell off. Just the glass please. Thanks.

Does the glass separate from the mirror assembly itself easily? I've never taken one apart. I do have a breaker on the drive with 2 intact mirrors :y

Mine came away. I have what is in effect a double sided mirrored piece of glass with the end broken off. I can only imagine it was originally glued to the moving/ heated mechanism which is still in place. The mirror wasn't hit or damaged in any way, just as I was reversing out going to work at stupid o'clock this morning, the glass on the nearside fell off leaving a black, buff surface.
