Title: Martin Lewis and PPI.
Post by: ted_one on 31 January 2015, 14:27:45
Back in November I received two letters from The Bank of Scotland about PPI on loans that I took out in 2001 and 2004 which is when I brought the first two Omegas,I was so sick of getting PPI texts and marketing calls I just chucked them on a pile of stuff going to recycling, as each of the letters contained a thick pile of double sided forms that were asking for info that was potentially 10-13 years old and more than likely to be lost in the mists of time.BUT!! SWMBO AT ALL TIMES : ::):)said  ''you know what Martin Lewis said that if you get one of these letters it's not a scam and they owe you money''I replied yeah whatever! and then when I came round after a perfect right uppercut I was sitting at the kitchen table with a pen in hand and said pile of forms in front of me :o.An hour later with her standing over me and gently prodding me with her sharpest carving knife the deed was done and the forms were duly posted and forgotten about. This morning I'm the proud owner of a cheque for.......wait for it.....£4,096.72p which includes 8% interest and all taxes paid to the revenue. This is going into my Monaro fund...without a doubt :y

Buy the girl a bunch of flowers and tell her that you'll never doubt her again. :y

Great result.

Joking aside,I would advise anyone about those letters,if you have one or you get one (or two like myself) then crack on because they owe you money. They know it,and all you have to do is fill in the forms to claim what's yours.Don't go numpty like myself and have to suffer a kick up the ass to get motivated :o

A small portion of this is going into my Monaro fund...without a doubt SWIMBO will claim her commission and the rest will go to a new kitchen or something :y
Fixed that for you  ;) ;)

Mr Lewis is worth a few quid now. His constant energy rush gets tiresome to the point of wanting to punch him.
