Oil was up by 8% on Friday and the retailers won't be sluggish passing it on.

The Shell here is the most expensive place around but I always fill up there (because I'm loaded, of course, STMO) .. in the hopes that it's the cute cuddly looking one serving.  :-[ :-X

The government wont allow, fuel to fall below £1.00, per litre as they will lose millions in tax.

Fuel duty is a constant charge per litre, so it's only the VAT element that's sensitive to the retail price. The government will see it as a good excuse to reinstate the duty escalator (after the election, of course). ::)

Wasn't you in the Shell at Towcester, lusting all over the very pretty indian girl serving, and causing a queue out of the door?

More rear tyres spent...   ...I haven't managed to rubber that forecourt in yet.
