My eldest bought a V6 manual with stage one chip, gmax 40mm lowered all round and other bits. Drove really well, good power cuvre with that chip which optimised everything and gave him 5 mpg over his 2 litre 8v. Suffered the normal V6 oil cooler failure though, but we all know about them ;D

Thinking building one of these              http://www.autods.net/calibra/     if only vauxhall would have made the rear wheel drive

i it helps.
i bought a brand new one when they just came out.
what a waste of money.

i wanted a purple one with black leather and all the toys you could have.
as i ordered it when opel shut down for summer holidays i had to wait 3 month to be build..

finally arrived at the showroom.
as i signed paperwork, turned the key and drove it out the showroom the whole of the front bumper including spoiler fell off.

well, i endet up with a vectra garage car from them.
2 month later the new one came.

in red as purple wasnt available. less money too.
i agreed and had it.
60 miles down the road on the way home i endet up under a motorway bridge beacuse it started raining.

no. not because i didnt want the new car to get wet.
the sunroof didnt close and the wipers didnt work.

back to the garage. vectra for another 2 month.

got a black one at the end. buy the time i think we had a 40% cheaper brand new car. lol

on the way home the engine blow up. just as we reached 67 kilometer. ha ha.

back to the garage and bought a mercedes 190 E 2,5 which i had 5 years without problems.

bad experience on calibra, so no thanks. i would not buy one ever again. ( it was one of the the first v6 every build when they came out. )

maybe interesting.

don't give me wrong, that is my personal experience with this car.
i wasn't happy about it and for the money i suposse spend, which i got back completly, it should be a perfect car.

if i wouldn't have this experience i may would go for another one.
they look nice.

but burned kit avoids fire.

anyway, now with 2 dogs and want my comfortable space i dont think it would suit my needs. ha ha
would also look stupid with a caravan on the back.

Pretty much anything with four wheels has won that award! Clearly a total load of 'dangle berries' for towing anything other than a 2 berth caravan or trailer tent!
