Title: TIA
Post by: Rods2 on 04 February 2015, 00:21:30
Unfortunately, I had one that lasted for a couple of hours last Friday evening.  :( :( :( An experience best avoided. :D

Fortunately, I'm 99% okay, just a bit of numbness in my left hand, balance might be slightly weaker to my left side (can't make my mind up) and migraine type flashing patterns in my eyes when looking at bright lights, especially computer monitors has been the most annoying, but these have now receded and I'm feeling a bit scatter brained, so I'm having to take things more slowly to make up.

Doctors follow up has meant blood pressure tablets and aspirin and will have a scan next week to see if there is any identifiable brain damage and an assessment for everything else.

Been working very hard, with a stressful week last week and it unfortunately caught up with me, we all feel invincible, until we're not! :-[

No good saying 'Take it easy', cause I guess you, like a lot of people, just can't. Make sure you take your medication and try and have as much down time as possible. Hope this warning will make you think about what's important. Best of luck, Rods.

It's good to hear you're not too badly affected by it Rods! As already said, do all the quacks suggest and try and keep your natural tendencies to work yourself to death under control  :D
Best wishes from Phil & family :y

Thanks for all your support, it is much appreciated. :y :y :y

Since last Friday I've been sleeping a lot as it is a great healer. I've been taking it easy this week, by only doing what I feel up to.

Looking at it as a warning and will adjust my lifestyle accordingly.

Although not 100%, I'm positive and looking on the bright side as it could have been much worse.

My philosophy: Life is an adventure, some bits good, some bits not so good, I am where I am, take each day at a time and work from where you are to try to get to where you want to be. Be grateful with what you have as there are always many people much worse off than you.

Good philosphy Rods2.

My brothers philosophy (no doubt pinched ) is life is for real it ain't a bloody dress rehearsal. He bounces back from his many financial misadventures

Look after yourself and if you have any spare time keep the Ukraine expose's coming
