I'm about to buy two new tyres, handbook says I should fit a tyre pressure service kit.
Car is four years old - is this recommended, or not?

Yes but it only consists of a new Schrader valve insert, seal and locking ring:

Check the use by date on the emergency goo... Council munky checked mine and almost made an issue out of the fact that it expired last year on a '61 plate car ::)

Mine got inspected last month, they didn't even check the fire extinguisher was in date (it isn't ::) )
Got pulled up for not having any 'no smoking' signs.....got told to buy some and report back to them....must remember to do so someday ::) ;D
