Does anyone ever fall for this stuff? Not even written using good English. As a result I only sent a tenner. ;D

It wouldn't make it to my inbox.

I think someone had taken over Gary's address book. I bought some guinea fowl eggs mail order 4 years ago off him. So it is accepted as genuine mail.

Tenner received, thank you :y
Anyway, what's wrong with my English ::) ;D ;D

Seems straightforward enough, they need some extra cash for their holiday, you send them money, they get on a plane and enjoy their holiday. End off. ;D

Unfortunately, they do. :(
I know of one instance within our family (an older member) where money was paid out, but thankfully the money was returned by the bank/card company.
I have tried and tried again to install it in family members brains not to respond, same with phone calls.
Sadly I see cases on the TV where people have been fiddled out of money, and unfortunately, I have no sympathy with some of them. People that should have more sense.!!!!

Wouldn,t you want to get your backside out of Ukraine ASAP? :D

I got one last week for Paypal reimbursement of return postage costs ,checked with PP and it was a scam. The e mail and return form was full of typo's and written in such poor grammar that it screamed scam at you.
I did a little search though and several sites over here were taking it seriously ....... ::)
An old E mail address of mine that was discontinued by the provider after they sold out to a major player is still active in that I get incoming mail . It is absolutley inundated with fake invoices , pleading letters and offers of shares. I guess the former provider has sold the e mail addresses onto a third party . >:(

There is a risk , but the banks do cover you for any fraud or money losses . I think your more likely to be robbed or scammed at a cash point , just as my auntie was to the tune of £6000 >:( but the bank gave her the money back . Still traumatic though :(

Talking of banks... the fekwits at Lloyds changed their pay in policy last week, but forgot to tell anyone... >:( you now need a pin number to pay money IN :o >:(
Wtf is that about? And to think some daft moron has just paid Mr Osbourne £500 million for shares in that shower :-X
