Title: Few photos from work and my new tool chest :)
Post by: Webby the Bear on 27 February 2015, 18:26:55
Soooooooooo pleased with the roll cab and tool chest. in the end I got it for £150. TB mentioned that you couldn't get trade discount on a ''bundle'' offer which I agree is true.... but for whatever reason they input the card details (after I thought I'd try it on) and I got another ton off!!!!! well 'appy :)

Ha ha if you could see the other guys boxes you'd realise mine was a baby in comparison. One guy has the biggest snap off box I've ever seen.

Rh the ball bearing. . . . It's nice. But they don't shut the best if I'm honest  :-X but overall I'm loving just having portable tools  ;D

Did you see the Passion of Guy Martin?  He'd £thousands worth of Snap On stuff in lpoads of cabinets, counted something like a dozen 10mm spanners alone

Sadly, no inserts for the 200pc set. Be careful of 150pc set inserts, as there are 3 variants of the socket set, and only one of the inserts

Ah, you bought the baby Halfords box.

I have the larger black set over at the railway, does the job well particularly given it has tools in it which are much bigger and heavier than you will find in a garage.  :y

At home its Clarke pro stuff which I suspect is the same as the Halfords offering, again, works fine.  :y

Yeah, quite a price difference for the black one  :'( but still very pleased.

Acquired my first ever piece of snapon equipment today. . . . . . A 10mm deep impact socket found on the scuttle of a megane  ;D

think I paid £270 for the black one (both parts) as it was on offer at £300 but they had an additional 10% off
