I know there are some who don't like them.and his lord opti loves them.
They have a up to 50% off, online sales till midnight.

I find ECP pretty good provided you don't have to use their Customer service department.
This is not fit for purpose. >:(
-
I bought a set of head bolts from ECP's sister company CarParts4Less last year and they only sent 8 rather than the required 16. ::) They sorted it quickly and efficiently and I had another 8 bolts in my grubby paws within a couple of days! :y
Maybe if you buy via their ebay listings, they are a bit smarter with their customer service as you have ebay's clout behind you. :-\

Their goods usually arrive on time and well packaged.
They sent me the wrong oil filter but refused to offer an exchange or a refund. >:(
Luck of the draw, I suppose. :-\
-
i find them ok. never trust their sale prices though esp if 'no promo code needed' they have 'last chance' sales every day of the year
-
Ordered a few bits from them , everything has been fine . 50% deals are on all year round ;D
Shop around though is the key :y
-
There ok....don't use them much....bought a pollen filter of them a while back, cheap as chips :y
Time before that I bought an alternator for a merc....merc dealer didn't have one in stock...ECP did....tho it did cost me about £350 iirc with £50 off for trade in.....but I needed it the same day....so was a bit stuffed.

Where is your Merc now, Al?
-
In the oldern days, when I was a youngster like webby, euro-car parts, were very good at supplying Mercedes parts only,at very cheap prices, then they became a big faceless, corporate machine.
They have all the lemforder bushes for wishbones at a good price. :y

Wrong Taxi ;D ::) :D
My mistake. :-[
One taxi driver seems much the same as another to me. ;D ;D
-
But in answer to your question....
The two mercs I have owned.....according to ASKMID
The C220 estate has turned into Pug 306 :-\ ;D
And the SLK200 is no longer insured....maybe written off I guess....its automatic braking system never worked too well when I had it....hence an insurance payout of a £8k repair bill when I had a slight mishap with it :-X

Fear no, a new 50% offer will start at midnight :)
They are clearly more desperate than DFS.
I'm amazed how many fall for this, but as was pointed out to me earlier today, I underestimate how many stupid people there are now :-[

I know their 50% off offer is total shite.
Does this mean I'm not stupid.......or..... ::) ::) ;D

52% off from today :D ;D

52% off from today :D ;D
I'm waiting for their 53% sale. ;D
-
There always on 50% these days, I tend to use them for selected parts but its getting less and less these days due to the 50% thing.
If you follow the price trends of their normal (non 50%) compared to when the sale is on, your fing the RRP increases in most cases during their sales.
If you have the normal promo codes (up to 30%) this can work out a lot cheaper, downside is they dont allow promo code discounts while they have their 50% sale on. >:(
If your going to spend more than 50 quid on bits, use their sister Co Parts4less and get the promo discount codes for £50+, 75+ and 100+. :y

Personally prefer CP4L. But fifty percent off is still great :y

cp4l and ecp look suspiciously like the same company to me, websites very similar, one orange one blue.

Nothing suspicious about it... ::)
They are one and the same, one being store based, tother online, but with alot of crossover :y
-
I wouldnt use ECP if they was giving stuff away...
When I wanted a set of HT leads for the Miggy a couple of weeks ago, I went onto EBAY and ECP quoted £25 and I could collect in store.... went to the store and they came up with some bullshit excuse and wanted to charge me nearly £75 for a set... even though I gave them a reference number etc... told them to stuff 'em up there rears...
Walked literally 100 yds away from them to a motor factors and got them at £24... OEM leads too (Bosch I believe but branded some thing German) I was a happy bunny then :)

I'm waiting for their 53% sale. ;D
Searching their site for parts , they are quite expensive . Im sure they make up those before event prices ::) £6 for a wiper blade ::) I can get 2 pairs off ebay for that and they last me 2 years ::)
-
Thing is, EMD, these retailers know the British buying public is mostly made up of stupid people. Slap a sale sticker on anything, make out its a bargain, many will believe it. They think they're getting a bargain, but in reality paying more than normal price
-

thats not quite true al. they both have a big online presence though yes ecp have stores too. its is suspicious because they sell at different prices with different offers and they publish nothing to let you know they are the same company, in fact they try to make them look different. it fooled our webby and no doubt takes in a lot of people. its very dodgy in my opinion.

My £2.74 pair of windscreen wipers I bought last year from ECP were a bargain and still going! :y

I must agree ;D All like sheep when they see a sale sign and buy up bits just like black friday ::)
I recently bought some tool storage from B&Q of all places but they were far cheaper than machine mart for the exact same stuff ::)

it was immediately apparent that the textile was much thinner than the other two products we tested in the maker’s range
Not as good as expected :( Would be better at 99p ::)

I bet ECP's Marketing Department just love Car Forums! ;D
There's been several threads here discussing ECP and their 'sales' which for sure have been replicated across all the other car forums, which must number in the hundreds. Great free publicity! :y ;D

To you Sir... £17,500 :y
Can I use my 50 % off ECP voucher?
Say the word and £8750 will wing it's way to you. :)
