Title: True or not?

This morning on GMB they showed a clip of an airliner coming in to land in a place called St.Martins.This showed the aircraft basically skimming the crowds on the beach as apparently the runway is just past this.One of the presenters was questioning the truth of the filming-was it photo shopped or something-I had to leave for work before any more was said about it,so was it true or not?

Can't understand why people stand there watching the planes come in/go out - when I was there time was better spent in the hotel free beach bars  ;)

Yes Baza, that is very true. The airport is Queen Juliana's St Maarten.

Someone has done a superb rendition which I use in Flight Sim. As some video's show, people stand there when a plane takes off and get blown into the sea. In TB language....'tards' ;D ;D

Yes standing there waiting for an airliner does appear to me to be a strange way of spending your holidays!As for the young lady I must say she fills her bikini rather well!!!!

Just a quick correction to my previous post...Its Princess Juliana, not Queen Juliana.
Don't know why the heck I put that...I fly there on my sim all the time :y

As a massive plane geek, I'd love to be able to say I've felt the full force of 4 RR or GE engines at full chat.
