Hi I have just bought new and unused in my local paper classified for £10.00 a pair of Excel wishbones for my 2.2 auto. I wondered if any one had any experience with these and could give me some feedback

Make sure they are fitted correctly, with the bolts tightened with the wheels on the ground...

No experience of that brand, but would you be able to take some photo's of the welds so we can see what the construction is like?

Indeed. And if solid, it's well worth fitting known quality bushes prior to fitting to the car. Gm vertical bush and poly front bush. Saves a lot of agro later as the original design rubber bushes don't last, not to mention set up costs to get the geometry correct each time.
No experience of those specifically though. Excel :-\
(Poly don't have an orientation so don't need the bolts tightening wheels loaded, just do em up to the correct torque. Applogogies of you know all this already btw )

we use this brand on some suspension parts , not very good quality but cheap

Have to say that's the route I've gone down. Poly'd and genuine GM'd cheap n cheerful wishbones. Given a coat of good stone-chip-proof paint, and they're going on this weekend :-)

Good stuff - make a note of the mileage and we'll see how long they last - though at a tenner if you don't midn the aggro of fitting new ones they don't have to last too long before they're worth the money :y
