fitted my towbar this week to omega saloon, did all wires off plug in boot but needed a switched live, did some searching on here nothing found, so rather than running wire the length of car
searched the net for 30 mins and found a good site with wiring for all cars,
said theres 2 plugs under rear nearside seat BOOM switched live, constant live all sorts of feeds for all sorts of wiring needs
just thought id share as its helpfull info

There's a reason why the live supply goes straight to the battery via a relay... ::)
You might wish to reconsider :-X

it was a switched live i needed no draw just for the relay to sense charge etc, proffesional towbar fitters use this wire so i guess its safe enough

It's easier to use a voltage sensitive relay for your split charge relay ..... saves find an ignition live :y
