Been in Birmingham this morning. That was disappointing putting holes in card and everything lol
-
Didn't even go dark here.
-
The cloud certainly got dim for a while here. :(
-
Partial eclipse are rarely very exciting. Even with 95% coverage.
However, a full eclipse in a cloudless sky is amazing......so I'm told. :y
-
Poxy country >:(
-
The skies cleared and the (full) sun came out just after 1030ish..... ::) ;D
-
Cracking view in Chester, used 3 polarising filters, superb clarity.
Went fairly cold and upset the bird song

Great pix but a bit of a damp squib here in Beds. When's the next one, 2026? Not sure I'll make that. ;D
-
8.30am in Liverpool the cloud started to thin,so I thought all was good, but by the time the eclipse happened it was overcast b*gger! .All the birds stopped singing though :(
-
Had perfect view of it here this morning , much better than in some parts of the UK.
-
The cloud cleared for just long enough to see the climax in Brakkers. Obviously nowhere near as good as 1999, but still a special moment
-
Yep good view of it up here in N.lincs too and as I work outside I got the full effect without chancing being "warned"for skiving off work to see it!
