Afternoon guys.
When I can be arsed to get off the sofa I got to go and 'ave a butchers at the wifes corsa. rear wipers not working.
I've previously checked the rear wiper fuse in the engine bay fuse box. This is good.
I'm now going to whip the plastic cover off from the motor/connector assembly and test for voltage.
if I get no voltage is it most likely the stalk that's fubar'd? and if I get voltage then its a new wiper motor?
thanks in advanced gents :y

Could also be the relay :y

Cheers Taxi.
Just been out.... wiper getting voltage on and off correctly as the switch is worked. So must be the motor.
Thank my lucky stars its not riveted in.... merely 3 star bolts holding it on :) :y :y :y

ps is it possible to fix the motor? ive heard regreasing the gears inside may work? if so any idea how to attack said beast? :)

£20 off a breaker :y

Good point Varche, thanks for that. On the Corsa forum you reckon?
-
No, I would look for either a breakers yard near you or someone breaking a whole car e.g. on Ebay near you. You can search on Ebay on distance closest to your postcode. Quite often it is a breakers yard breaking a car on Ebay anyway. That way you have a bit of a guarantee if it is a dud when you get it mounted on your car.

Awesome, will do Varche... thanks for your help :y
As said, very relieved its not riveted in like the frenchies :y

One final thing re the wiper....
Had a quick look at the corsa this morning and there appears to be no nut securing wiper blade to motor spindle. How does this come off? Pry it? :-\
