Will it work ok with my 2003 elite. My cdr2006 is dead.

Work - Yes
Work properly - No

You have a Bose enabled CCR2006, The CDR2005 isn't Bose compatible therefore the sound control will be very limited, ie it will be all or nothing with massive base! ...and shortly after you may kiss the Amplifier goodnight.  :'(

What he said /\, the 2005 is a pretty shite HU, probably better getting hold of a replacement Bose 2006 from somewhere IMHO.
