My daughter sent me a video this morning via Whatsapp to show me the noise her car sometimes makes. It only does it after a lay up of a few days but only lasts a minute or so at the most. It's sounds like a dry bearing somewhere ...... but obviously without the car in front of me to look at I can only guess.
I've no idea how to go about loading it from my phone to get it to here via a link for your opinions
52 plate Fiat Seicento ;)

Video should save to your phones camera roll wheather iOS or Android, You could upload directly from the phone to who ever you normally use such as YouTube, Photobucket etc... Use the app to upload an share away :y

My Misses Ford Focus sounded a bit like that when the water pump was on its last legs :-\ :-\ :-\
-
As said above it could well be water pump.
My SWMBO's Kuga sounded similar and we had timing belt & water pump changed at same time. :'(
Belt was due a change, so I couldn't be entirely sure it wasn't that.
The only way I could describe it was like an 'electric motor' type of noise. 8)
Good luck!
