Just ordered a new set of Dunlops.
Last set did 22K miles in 9 months.
Is that good or bad?

22k is pretty good going :y

My personal best is 18k... my worst is less than 1k ::)

Yes but the life expectancy of rear tyres on the Accord is about the same as the average age of their target market :D

....is not helpfull.


As said, it depends WHICH black and round Dunlop we're talking about. If an Eco durable tyre then, no not really.

But if it's a soft and sticky performance tyre, then yes, good wear.

Need tyres though, winter has gone, so need some summer tyres............. ::) ::)

Firstly can I commend you on a fantastic web forum.
But if I may make a suggestion or two

1) make a section dedicated to tyres
2) put the word tyres in the word filter

Fair to good mileage out of those then, I'd say.

They aren't Dunlops softest model so, should get reasonable miles out of those. Think Kev had a set of those a few years ago.

Now sitting on a new set of Dunlops. I think a visit to WIM might now be in order. Certainly an oil change.  :y
