Title: Pylons
Post by: Sir Tigger KC on 10 April 2015, 18:48:11
The interests of OOFer's apart from Omega's are wide and varied and weird and wonderful!  :y  So after seeing this article, do we have any Pylon Spotters?  ???  :y

Also, this new design.  The T structure with the Pat Butcher diamond earrings.  ;D  Wouldn't those diamond things that hold the cables blow around in strong winds?  :-\

I m not a pylon spotter. I have always thought that despite the tremendous extra cost it should all be underground. Townies would no doubt dissagree.

We have lost the plot.

We at national grid gas are slowly demolishing the gas holders and surely cables must be buried where possible to rid the countryside of the bygone eyesores in the same way :y
