I have this tool. You're more than welcome to borrow mine to test it out if you'd like?
It reads engine, tranny, srs and abs codes. I've used it on loads of different cars and it's awesome. . . . The only exception ironically being the omega which it simply won't read lol

Yep, if you want it for the omega it doesn't work. This is my second autel and I've used it on loads of friends cars. I had just the engine code reader before that and it wouldn't read codes on the omega. And neither does this one.
It will however read live data.
As said you're more than welcome to borrow it if you wanted a play around as just the live data itself is interesting.

What Omega's have you tried it on Steve, it could be it will only read CAN BUS or even half CAN BUS ECU's like on the 2.6 or 3.2 Omega's...

Press the 'I dont wan it button' and the 'I aint paying for it either, button'
Thas what most ebayers seem to be doing lately in my experience as a seller. ::)

As said mate this is only my experience. I tried it on my 2.5.
At the very least you'll be able to sort other cars out lol

There is only one cheap code reader + live data for the omega that stands out from them all.. ;)

I didn't buy mine for that though. I bought mine to do as much diag work on as many cars as possible. Works a treat on mums ford lol

well, it arrived. if you press the right buttons it will work on my miniface mv6. 8)
