Title: Your list of omega jobs.
Post by: chrisgixer on 03 May 2015, 13:32:13
This should keep Stmo amused for a while. ;D

Your list of jobs that need doing in order of priority.

Mine;
Sort the woom woom woom noise at the rear. Brakes I think.  :-\
Re fit poly donuts
Fit Pilot super sports on the front.
Find a better park pilot speaker solution.
Keep it clean
Change the oil
Put the elite memory loom in the mv6 door currently fitted and
Come up with an Elite / Mv6 seat combo that allows memory.

Mv8

Create some time to
Fit Uj's to rack.
Make a log fanimold around the rack.
Etc....

The list is currently so long that I dare not think about it. Its too depressing. Im hoping to find the time / funds / energy over the summer to do the big jobs, such as handling so bad the car is almost undriveable, misfire on gas, rusty n/s wheelarch, and cambelt slightly overdue on time.
Neglect an Omega for a year and it will punish you. ::)

Buy a nice black one (but a nice one would suffice)

The cambelt is due, and the crank oil-seal is leaking.
It needs new droplinks.
I need to figure out how to remove the covers off my replacement mirrors so I can paint them silver.
The OSR wheelarch still needs to be repaired.
It could do with a clean.

Finish collecting parts for the black estate suspension, fix the coolant leak, service it and replace anything else likely to break on it before finally sorting the body work ::)

Get the windscreen changed on the white one, then MoT it and finally get it decorated :-\

Oh and remove the glovebox from one of them before coming to the Wycombe meet...  :D

Oil changes on both, 3.2 very over-due.

Cambelt on 3.2, that's over due too.

Bit of noise from rear passenger on 2.2, almost drop link type sound. Only on very rough roads. Need to investigate.

Perhaps, but only things required are the glovebox, a new BT head unit and some wiring...

Everything else I already have ;)

Fit new rear track rods
Whip wishbones off, remove front polys, remove rear bush, paint wishbone with hammerite, fit new rear bush, refit front polys, refit wishbones.
Get realigned and bend over for 4 new tyres.
