I recently filled my fuel tank with fuel and the head gasket has decided to go .
What is the best way to drain the fuel out of the tank . 70 litres of it .

How ironic that I am first to post, in light of what I do for a living!
Best option would be to remove the sender unit and siphon it out from there. Alternatively, disconnect fuel line at engine, fit a suitable hose extension and then power the pump by turning ignition on... May only run for a short while so you may need to bridge the pump relay.

I thought through sender unit but can't stomach the taste of petrol plus I smoke so could get fire breathing man lol

If scrapping it, drill/punch hole in tank ;D
Only joking, hope you are going to repair?

Buy a cheap, inline pump and connect it to a battery away from the vehicle ;)

Looked on Internet about using a drill line pump cordless drill .

I wouldn't... It will eat the seals (although it would probably last long enough for emptying the tank) and a drill is a hotbed of spark possibilities! If you do decide to, please ensure you do it out in the open air with the drill and pump elevated, drill above the pump.

It's a silver line drill power pump . U tube shown how to do it .

Easiest way, without sucking is get one of those jiggler hose thingy's with the ball on the end, last one I bought was about 6 notes from Halfrauds.
Did a Mig Saloon with a nearly full tank without issues.

I shall have a look today on travels . Thanks

. Emptied 45 litres out of the 2.2 with one of those last week before I sold it, didn't take long.
