Title: Alfa 147

I can't get them out of my head, think I might be making a purchase soon. I keep thinking dont sell the Omega its nearly finished and then I can LPG it but within a day or two im back on Autotrader and ebay looking at the Alfas :'(

I need therapy ;D

Thats just it, she's all for it. She had an Alfa Spider and loved it.

Hi Pete. Alphas are a pain but when they're good they're very very good, when they're bad they're............................ :'(

Just remember that Alfa halved the cambelt change [eriod to 3 years 36K miles......and you need to change the variator at the same time to!

Cheers Mark,

I had a GTV about 2 years ago and had the belt and variator changed at an independant specialists in Wrexham for £450 useing genuine parts :y

The GTA will cost you £90 a week in tyres as well...

sorry, but you were royally ripped off there,
£300 max at a specialist,

go for it, dont fight it,
ive had alfas for 7 years and have just bought another,

Special tool to get aux belt pully off? Wheel arch is in the way.

Very nearly bought a 3.2 V6 Alfa147.
Had a couple of test drives .

Extremely quick.
250 BHP through the front wheels means TC and ESP are constantly working. Buy one if you get the chance. :y
