Were you off roading on the verge?  ;D

I always liked those. How long have you had it and has it been easy on the wallet so far?

I bought it last November or December

It's been brilliant. Absolutely faultless. Air suspension works, I love it. Although it only has 91k on the clock, which is low ish compared to what's generally on offer.

On a run (A roads) I always see 20mpg, which isn't too shabby for what it is.

The reality is though, that my Omega DTi Estate is staying for the long haul. I can only have two cars, so I need to make a very difficult decision between the Rangie and the Black 3.2 Omega I've nearly finished.

And no, this is NOT a veiled for sale advert... because until I have my arm forced... it's not for sale!!!!!! :y

Yes. I might have forgotten to mention that it's an old photo. :-[

Similar "vital statistics" to me, Opti, so you can strike that excuse off your list. :y

It has a 2.0 Ford Zetec with ported head, hotter cams and Jenvey throttle bodies on a Megasquirt engine management system. Gives "adequate" performance. ;)

Lovely looking Rangie, and pre-Victoria Beckham Land Rover at that! These will only appreciate and people will see these as possibly the last 'true' RR's before they went all Hollywood and blingy.

I apologise as you'll probably hate me for saying this, given that the rest of the car looks basically mint and clearly very well cared for... what's going on with the driver's door handle? Again, I apologise, in fairness that appears the only thing 'wrong' (for want of a better word) with the car  :)

It was either that or your neighbours really don't like to spend their money .. an old Rover, an old Pug 306 (I think) and what looks like an early 00's Subaru in the background.

Here's mine being (ab)used:

(It's a late apex. Honest.)

Sadly the kit car still hasn't progressed past this stage:

Could have been forgiven if the front wheels were angled towards the camera and there was a little smoke from the rears. ::)

Yes, and, like TheBoy, I even have to accept one from a 4 pot sometimes, albeit "slightly" larger than a desmond. :-[

:P I probably still had the DSC enabled at that point..  :-[ :-[

In my defence that's the 'wiggly bit' at Rockingham on the infield that I spent all day trying to get right and very rarely strung together properly; there's a left hander immediately out of shot and I was always intent on being in the right place for that one which made me stuff up the entry & exit of the preceding right hander (this corner).  At least I think that's where it is..

Ah.....a soft top M3. You poser/poseur, Aaron. ::) ;)

I imagine it has all the rigidity of a wet cardboard box in the corners. ;) :D :D :D

:P Considering it's missing a third of it's structure it's actually surprisingly rigid.. in fact it's all rigid enough that they're fairly well known for tearing the rear subframe mounts straight out of the floorpan :-\

It does have the usual BMW approach to handling though; fit rock hard springs.

8-12 if he is lucky...mind you being P38 it will do millions of MPG on the back of a flat bed recovery truck :y

Riding around the Loch is beautiful too, I should have done wild camping along this. Rather than the terrible campsite nearby  :(
