I found this floating around behind the radio on the 2.2 - looks like it should be secured somewhere.

Does anyone know what it is?

Don't recall seeing anything like that when I've had various facelift radios out... :-\

Found all sorts of, er, interesting wiring when I first got my current ex plod, but certainly nothing like that...

Yep, quite a short cable on it so they do sometimes become dislodged when routing cables in that area.
