Title: 2.5 V6 Stat

2.5 Thermostat - VX have advised today that the seals are on back order with the factory and can't supply atm.

Are there any known good sources of thermostat and transfer pipe?

Anyone help on the Stat and eBay? I think I remember one from the U.S. Being mentioned before?

If you are careful you should be able to split the transfer pipe from the thermostat housing. I've always managed it and I'm pretty ham fisted!  ;D

However a new transfer pipe will only be about £15 from the dealer so it might be worth getting one especially as they come with new 'O' rings.  ;) 

Depends how lucky you're feeling and how quickly you need the job done!  :y

Just to add, you can usually find a discount code for CP4L so have a hunt around.  ;)

Yes, Why buy one from the US....  :-\

I bought one from ebay recently and the O ring didn't fit properly so beware! The Wahler thermostat that I bought was much better!  :y

No issues with the Ac Delco one..  Genuine stat for 2/3 the price of a vauxhall sourced one...

No prizes for guessing what I fitted to mine... Transfer pipe is best sourced from Vauxhall at £12-15 :y

Bought transfer pipe last week from stealers £17 , wonder how long these will be available as never seen a pattern alternative  :(

Get a transfer pipe,before you change the thermostat.,as sods law will intervene.

I have the transfer pipe - when I did the salon I got luck so still have it  :y

Got the Waller ones elivered from ecp. They forgot to put the sealing ring in. Grrrrrrrrr.

Took a while to get the new one and ended up going downs for it.
