Title: Draper Expert Tool Trolley
Post by: Webby the Bear on 21 May 2015, 20:22:36
Just about to hit the ''Buy'' button on this mofo....

http://www.tooled-up.com/product/draper-expert-2-tier-tool-trolley-with-1-drawer/195437/?Referrer=googleproductlisting&gclid=CjwKEAjwm-aqBRD39YPqhbzthzYSJACFj-AthCluhUJYccftBtsRJLWLdDtKFozgw_wApR89OK9J7xoC3y_w_wcB#prettyPhoto

Really getting annoyed with dragging the heavy roll cab and tool chest around and I'd like to keep that in the corner sitting pretty whilst I drag this much lighter and spacious tool trolley round.

Two of the lads have trolleys...both Blue Point, both just two tier trolleys with no draw and both cost around £200  :o so I feel I'm getting a much better deal especially as mine will have a tool draw.

only annoying thing is it doesn't appear to come with foam / tray layering/ but this is no biggie as I'm sure I spied a roll of it at work the other day  8)

so anyways...anyone got one? happy with it etc?

 :y

Does your mum not have an old 'hostess trolley' that you can modify, Mr Bear?

I made some compartments in the top tray, for screwdrivers, spanners, sockets etc etc ... and it pushes straight under my workshop bench when not in use ;)

Excellent value for money dear boy! :y

This surely can't be beyond the abilities of Welder the Bear?  ::)  ;)

A few lengths of box section and angle iron, 4 x casters, plywood, a few plastic end caps, a tin of Hammerite (colour to suit) and jobs a goodun!  :y

Don't weld myself, but keep meaning to get a mate to weld up four bits of l-section, with some old computer chair castors on for my halfords socket set. I know they're supposed to be dragged about and get abused etc, but really don't see why it can't sit on a 'mini-creeper' and would make life so much easier.

Make your own!  :)

Re making one myself.... simply don't have the time...plus it would never be perfect and I can be a bit anal with stuff like this. the cart I made is good enough to be sat where it cant beseen in the garage. not for thes shop. imo  :y
