Does the 3.0 have under the bonnet over the 2.5?
-
Around 30 from memory :y
-
Really? I see 😊
-
From memory it's 167 on the 2.5 and 208 on the 3.0, the MSD version with Gcams brought the 2.5 up to 195. Which is odd to think in a whole 500cc the difference was a mere 13bhp :)

Trust me, whatever you do to a 2.5 / 2.6 it will never be a 3.0 / 3.2. The performance difference is a world apart.

Sad face... :(
Still looking out for that gearstick surround for you, Andy :)
-
A 3.0 coming my way end of the month hence selling the 2.5

Especially as tbe revs rise 8)
I have missed that sound... Commute fuel economy is suffering somewhat though... 20.4 mpg :D ::) :-X

But remember, black ones are allegedly faster, than rare silver and white stripey ones :)

Don't overlook the fact that the torque characteristics of any given engine also play a big part in proceedings.

Indeed, I've had a 2.5 with 3l cams and a superchips chip. Nowhere near as quick or driveable as my 3.0l I had at the same time.
