Post by: The Sheriff on 22 May 2015, 15:13:11
done 1400 miles in it. Had the V5 back and, today, the acknowledgment slip telling me they've updated their records. But no fickin tax back.

It's nowt special, just a bog standard, mass produced tin box. When I've finished being everyone's taxi (including the dog) I'll get something proper.

Like an omega  ;D

I want a big, comfortable, automatic barge. One that will waft me around in comfort in my twilight years. Possibly old Beemer 7, merc S class or big jag.

Is it wrong that I've wanted a big, wafting slush-box barge since I was 10 - and own that car now?  :) And will never sell it?  :D

Try a CLS.

One with conventional suspension.

Had to laugh today...swmbo (totally unaware of the STMO colour thing) seeing a snot green Astra as we went to Aylesbury, chirps up...."Do these people who buy cars that look like snotty green, get a discount to buy it"
Tickled me, that did ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm genuinely poor. Why don't people believe me?

A 12 year old Omega is hardly the transport of a wealthy man, Mr Rods. :'( :'(

A cross between lime/vomit green and the colour of piss when dehydrated. ;)

The average Vauxhall punter wouldn't understand Phlegmy hence the dumbed down version 'Flemmy'!  :y

Can't have poor old Opti getting confused now can we?  ::)  ;D

Here's a good idea. Everyone who is online now and drives an omega, put your car into a well-known car buying site and see how much you can get.
I'll put my phlegmy Astra in and we'll see if it's worth more than all your omegas put together. ;D

A paltry £235 for mine the last time I checked. No point is selling it for such a pittance.

I think STMO is being very smart, when he overtakes an unmarked police car at speed (well flat out for a 1.4 at 42mph downhill with the wind behind him), the police will ignore the infraction in a 30mph limit, saying he has suffered enough, just being seen in a metallic snotbox. :D :D :D :D
