Title: Lawnmower would not start.
Post by: Field Marshal Dr. Opti on 25 May 2015, 12:10:29
.....but now fixed. :y

Took out the plug which was wet (petrol getting through) but also covered in shit. Cleaned the plug and tried again. The end result being SFA and plenty of expletives starting with 'F' and 'C'. ;)

Removed the plug  and rested in against the metal engine cover.......No spark.

Replaced the plug with an old 'quad' from the mighty MV6. The result being a big fat juicy spark. :y

After checking that the thread length was the same (well almost) I screwed the Omega quad  into the pile of shit that is my mower.

I'm delighted to say that she purred into life on the first pull and will now reach 60 MPH in nine seconds.

Presumably this means a TORCH F6RTC lawnmower plug will rescue a 'stranded Omega'. :D ;D

Ah, TORCH plugs, guaranteed to fail. Shite Chinese shite.

I have a TORCH A5RTC in the table next to me, which is every bit as shagged. Can I get one around here?

I would expect no less than a V6 in your lawnmower M'lud with all those acres of ground your chief gardner and his assistants have to cut, all striped to military precision I hope. ::) ::) ::)

You may need to consider a change of personnel if none of the gardening staff can maintain your full range of agricultural equipment M'lud. You have standards to uphold and one of them is never getting your manicured hands dirty. :P :P :P

I'll cut my cloth a little if I have to but I'm not going to fire my full breasted serving wench. ;D
