....when swmbo keeps chopsing off about you fiddling with car bits on the dining table, moan, moan, moan.....but when you go out in the garage (where our freezer is) you find old cod portion packets, old frozen pea bags, etc, just chucked all over the floor or the work bench.
And there is always an excuse......
Really rattles me >:(

I really can't complain. My dining room currently has a complete 3.2 in it, 2 hardtops for my MX5's, all my tools, both compressors, hydraulic spring compressor and until yesterday an engine crane and jack.
My wife is the exception.

My new garage is freezerless. Its not entirely clear if the freezer was partly responsible.
That said, the ol' bag is pretty understanding, although she still refuses point blank to unload car parts from the dishwasher and bring them out to me.

A chest-freezer with a decent cover makes a good extra work surface. Ours is so old it doesn't need the cover ;)
The only snag is when you've got an engine laid out on the 'workbench' and dinner is inside it.

My mrs won't let me have anything in the house if it's car related but then moans at me when I spend my time out in the garage, go figure!!!

The freezer is a chest freezer, and does come in handy as a second bench. Can't put it in the kitchen as we would not then have a kitchen !!!!!! ;D

Once i go in the man cave its locked from the inside :P There's a special knock code to get in that she dont know ::)
