Cleaning / detailing is really not my forte. But I do like a nice clean motor. I've been so busy of late that the omega has been a little neglected in this area. And to add to the grime and dirt I park under a blossom tree at work and everyday it's covered.
So dash in to morrisons garage, see the 'bronze' car wash for £2.99. Great.
Nope. Was absolute rubbish. It was so bad in fact I still have bird shite and unbelievably blossom still on the car 8) :o
So pay the extra £7 and taking it to the polish up near home base for a proper job.
Thumbs down for morrisons

Up and over, I presume. Shite.

Yup,
And what ''soapy water'' did land on my car ended up streaking everywhere and now it looks worse than before I went in! lol

Both my previous cars and my present ones are never the best of their type, but I would never ever subject any of them to a mechanical car wash! Hand car wash people round here charge a fiver for a "normal"car a bit more for a 4x4 and a bit more still for a van. That's a wash, leather[including door shuts]tyre dressing and buff over the windows.

DIY! For 9 years I have used the hand car wash types with unsatisfactory results. I tried it myself about a year and a half ago and not looked back. Yes, it takes me a couple of hours instead of 5 mins but the results are worth the effort.

ill be honest ive never had a problem with any mechanical car wash. the polish round here charge a tenner so I figured £2.99 and ill do aquick interior wash myself and job done.
but you get what u pay for!!!!
oh well lesson learned

I know a place that does the top wash for £3 as there's a couple of Polish washes set up nearby. Does a good job! :y
-

No Webby I think you misunderstood, it's the mechanical wash that's £3, not the Polish guys. ;)
Wash, wax, dried and out in less than 5 minutes! :y

Fiver for a bunch of Kosovans in Bletchley to do the outside, with great results. Being a far lazy tit, I bung 'em another fiver to clean and hoover the inside as well ::)

Yes, isn't it a travesty that these foreigners come over and nick our jobs ::)
