Am I right in thinking that we as a forum have just about seen every UK Omega when it does come up for sale? By seen I mean - it belongs to a forum member , used to or to a friend.
Does anyone think that for the small number that are left on the roads, that there are still a few mint examples that will come new onto the market like the recent low mileage (47k?) black 2.5 auto.
I am still looking (half heartedly) for a 2.5Dti saloon over here. Manual probably though occasionally you do see autos (2.5 auto 150 cv = AR35 box I would hope as the 2.5 BMW unit has 130cv). Problem is that they all have stellar mileage 150k miles upwards.

I know of 3 within a 5 mile radius that I don't believe are members...

Likewise... The nearest car that I work on, apart from mine ::), lives in Brighton :-\

Your post prompted me to 'ave a butchers at the 'how many left' site.
28 2.5v6 'CD's left :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
-
How accurate are their figures though?Reason I ask is that someone had looked it up and was told there were only 3 Senator 2.5s left!

no idea how accurate mate. I assume it's just a case of showing how many have been taxed?

I often wonder about their figures too, as they always seem very low.
There are loads of Omegas around here, but the only other OOF member I know of is Amba.

Hideously inaccurate. And critically it relies on what it's described as on the V5 (which as we know can vary wildly).
There are thousands of Omegas left. If there weren't you'd NEVER see one. Statistically you'd never pass one in the 30 million cars on the millions of miles of highway. I see at least one other everyday.

And to answer the OPs question : Of course. :D The vast vast majority of drivers in the UK haven't a care or concern for what a car forum is... nor be of an age group to have an internet enabled device in the case of Omega drivers ;) ;D

Massively inaccurate, and thus utterly useless, even as a basic guide

Interesting question about the low mileage ones though. Bought mine as it was the lowest I'd seen in a long time (52k). Only on 57k now :).
My other motor (9-5 Aero) is nicely run in at 180k ;D

Mine is a bugs dick just over 53k

Old fella on our caravan site, was there yesterday.....got a mint 2.5 W reg. Never heard of us, and not very conversational about the car. No rust, no marks...gleaming.
There is also a mint silver one, 53 plate....bloke has heard of us 'years ago'. Absolute cracker of a car. I think its 3.0 or 3.2. Again no rust, and unmarked.
Both cars on par with my new saloon. :y

My 2.5 is mint too (almost ;D)

I'm up the road from you in Swanscombe and I have a 2.5TD, a 3.2 Estate and my mate has a 2.5 Estate
