Following on from Vauxsull's post about a trip around UK, whats the most you've done in a day in your Omega.
I'll start with a 900m trip from home to South of France, back in the SeaCat days. Left about 5am, arrive about 9pm, though we were in convoy and had to stop every hour or 2 due to a grumpy 1yr old
-
Furthest mine has been is either upto the Lakes or a day trip to Potter Heigham from deepest Sussex, returning via Clacton On mud :-\
-
I suspect I'm the winner here with an amazing 47 miles :D
I've only had the car on day policies since I got it. Mainly due to the Wifes' car being rear ended, woman is being a grade A tool and dragging it out. So setting up a fourth policy and with no NCB is a no go until things settle. >:( Very annoying as I want Oscar on the road so I can sell a Vectra.

Just over 600 miles. Travelled back home from Cornwall, picked up the oldies and headed straight back again, stopping just long enough for them to get in the car. :)
Travelled in the early hours so made good time. Probably best not to post how good a time. ;)

Obviously, following your speed awareness course, you are now a reformed character :P

I had to look that up ;D

1440 miles from outside Leicester to Southern Spain via Channel tunnel. Done it twice both times in less than 24 hours .
Once in the 2.5 and once in the 3.0. Both auto elites.
Both times we religiously swapped drivers every 2 hours and have a loo break/coffee/food every 4. I think we filled up three or four times on route. On reflection it might have been eight times. ;D
Funnily enough each time we intended stopping in a hotel but they all look quite depressing or noisy so we kept pressing on looking for a "better" one.
Doubt you could do it nowadays without picking up a speeding ticket or two.
Quite a few years back we used to do motoring holidays scouting out areas we could/couldn't live in. One was three weeks around Iberia and we averaged 10 hours driving a day on that in a Carlton CDX.

Don't remember mileage but journey was from SLady bitshorpe to Aldershot and back.No problems no discomfort, got home feeling just as fresh as when I set off.
-
Up to Scotch corner, across to To Workington. 330miles.
-
94.1 miles from home in Wigan to Pooley Bridge, Ulleswater for our jollies last year... going again this year so it must be good....
But will be a longer journey methinks when we go to Billing this year, think I calculated a 2 1/4 hr journey coz we're dragging our 25 year old tintent with us so we have comfort :)
-
833 miles to Dundee and back in one day in the 3.0 elite :)
-
Dorset to East Lothian. 458 miles. :y
-
In an Omega probably around 240 miles.
-
Runcorn to the top end of the isle of Skye 510 miles...and that was in an N reg 2.0 cd Miggy
-
350 miles. Northampton to edinburgh and then same distance back a few days later. Never missed a beat :y

I'll be doing that in October and then over to North Uist :y
-
London to Luxembourg, 400 odd miles? Then next day was onwards to Austria.
In 160k 13 year old barge, never missed a beat 8)
-
Longest solo journey is probably my annual Aboyne to Alton. 550 miles. Only stopped for fuel (twice) this year.
Tend to do longer journeys in the roller skate. Think I've topped 800 in that, which is tedious at 150 miles per tank. ;D

Oh yer my "Comfort breaks" seem to have got more frequent just lately :-X got stuck on a longish journey the other week & asked the driver to stop for a needed "comfort break, before I pish meself" ;)

Probably about 750 miles when we went to Italy. Well... 2 days, 750 miles each day and the same a week later to return home. Additionally we did another around 2000 miles during the week we were there too!
That was in my saloon and it didn't miss a beat until the day of departure when I needed a jump start!
In the Estate... Up to the lakes, down to Newquay, over to Wales... All around 3-350 miles.

I have no problems doing the 700miles from my aunt's house in SW France to Calais, followed by another 50miles from the ferry to home. This sort of journey is why I bought a large comfortable motorway car.
By comparison, I can't drive my mother's Focus to Heathrow and back without it almost crippling me.
-
Bristol to Aberdeen and back in a single trip, so close to 1,000 miles. I did have to stop near Manchester on the way back for a nap. It was getting dangerous.
Oddly enough, I've done the very same journey in an Iveco Daily, and can't say I was more (or less) exhausted after.

I did Midsomer Norton to Falkirk and back to see the Falkirk Wheel - 812 miles, and Midsomer Nortn to Berlin 797 miles, but both in a Senator, so they don't count. Similar car though, and I was younger then.
-
734 miles from my house in Normandy to the South of France. :y :y :y
-
227 miles from Bonnybridge to Leeds the day after I bought it :)
-
625 miles back in 2007 trip to Isle of Skye from London, toured Scotland and done in excess of 2k, that was when the RPM sensor packed up in Dundee and had to be replaced :-X
-
This is quite cool for roadtrips. :y If you want people to know where you are that is.... ::) :P
